AFLAS® Fluoroelastomer
Aflas® is a copolymer of propylene and tetrafluoroethylene. When formulated, Aflas® can be used to manufacture seals, o-rings, gaskets having multiple unique properties. What makes this elastomer unique is that it is resistant to many chemicals, making it ideal for various industrial applications.

Advantages:
Aflas® performs well in methyl alcohol, steam, hydraulic fluid, corrosion inhibitors, brines, alkaline, crude oil, and hydrogen sulfide.
Limitations:
Aflas® is prone to methyl ethyl ketones, carbon tetrachloride, phosphate esters and, acetone.
