Faq’s

  • What are your core values and how do you express it to your clients?

Consistent Quality & On-Time Delivery. We hanker in being a trusted partner for precision sealing solutions. In India we’re known as an import substitute for precision rubber components and our focus remains on the export markets, predominantly the developed engineering hubs world-over such as Germany, France, US & Canada amongst other countries.

    • We thrive on ‘Zero Rejection Zero Failure’, and promise consistency with regards to material, dimensions and overall service to all our customers. This has been a driving force for our growth over the last few years.

    • We regularly invest in new machinery & technology in general, apart from regular RnD activities, developing new materials and production efficiencies for challenging applications.

    • Our company culture is driven with integrity, honesty & commitment. This is practiced across the entire organization. Our customers should never lose sleep over the parts that HRL supplies, that is the crux of our service.

    • Our Vision & Mission Statements are mentioned in the attached presentation which will give you a brief about our company, products & the customers we serve.

  • Describe your customer? (Income, Lifestyle, Location, Habits, behaviour etc…)

Our Customers are typically MNCs from Engineering industries like Fluid Control (Valves, Pumps, Actuators, Pressure Regulators), Aero-Space (Thermal Actuators), Electrical Equipment, Automobiles (Focusing on EV but not on combustion engine markets)

Typically most people who visit our website would certainly be there in need of a particular product or material specification. Since we don’t sell anything off the shelf, we will not have any jaywalkers on the website. So it’s important to make sure that we can provide the information that they are looking for in a seamless manner.

The job profiles of key decision makers from our customer’s industries are technical engineers, buyers, RnD

  • How do they make a buying decision?

For most of our customers, price is secondary but consistent quality & on-time delivery is the driver of their decision making process. The gestation period from inquiry to production is anywhere between 6 months to 2 years depending on the product, market & industry. The flow is, Inquiry – Quotation – Prototyping – Testing – Pilot Order – Testing – Approval for production. The cycle repeats itself if at any point there is a failure in testing. But once the cycle is completed successfully, it’s like a marriage and our customers will continue to buy from us year after year unless we are unable to meet the delivery or quality requirements.

  • What are their key criteria for buying your product / service?

We are not price competitive in India but provide immense value to our overseas customers in terms of how quickly we can deliver prototypes, followed by our consistent quality & most importantly, on-time delivery. Our Indian customers are typically companies that have burned their hands elsewhere a couples of times and then want a reliable solution at any cost.

  • What problem do you solve for your customers through this website?

Provide information on product, production capacity & overall infrastructure, capabilities in terms of product portfolio, molding techniques (Vacuum Compression, Transfer Injection & Injection Molding), variety of materials for different applications.

  • Why should people do business with you rather than your competitors?

Expertise in certain products, Capacity, Infrastructure, Team, Quality Systems & Processes, Impressive Customer Base, being agile & nimble to accommodate different requirements considering our size.

  • Who is the competition? (Please specify names, if possible)

In India – Ami Polymer, Ambrish Fluid Controls, VAKO Seals.

    • Globally – Freudenberg, RPP Corporation, Marsh Bellofram, EFFBE, Apple Rubber, Techno AD, DiaCom, CEETAK.

  • How do competitive products / service position themselves compared to yours?

Globally, Diaphragms is one of our main product categories and forms almost 70% of our entire exports. This product has a unique manufacturing process and therefore needs a high degree of expertise due to its nature of application.

We don’t have too many competitors in India for this product, however, globally, RPP Corporation, DIACOM, Marsh Bellofram, Ceetak, Effbe, Freudenberg our some of our competitors and we have been able to compete with them due to our highly engineered compounds, delivery and of course, price. In terms of quality, we’ve been told our Diaphragms are as good if not better for possibly a 1/3rd of the price.

    • Then we have small precision customized parts which form the remaining of our export revenues, here too once again we are competitive due to our low tool costs coupled with expertise in achieving tight dimensional tolerances as well as our experience in developing materials for extremely challenging applications.

    • Since 2023 we have been focusing on Large Sized parts keeping with the trend of differentiating ourselves from standard rubber manufacturers. This will be a big focus product group moving forward.
