01. Challenge
The client faced challenges with one of their FKM Diaphragms that had to handle extreme high temperatures.
They were supplying these diaphragms to one the world's leading manufacturer of indoor heating and cooling systems.
The existing FKM Diaphragms became brittle on exposure to high temperatures.
02. Our Solution
We analyzed the requirements and carefully formulated a high temperature resistant formulation for FKM.
We developed samples using 3 different grades.
03. Results
First Time Right
All 3 samples passed rigorous testing at the client's facility. One final grade was subsequently sent for approval to the end client and it successfully passed their tests and quality criteria in the very first attempt.
